Dr. Michelle began her post-college career as an outdoor guide and counselor for at-risk youth. Her excitement for wilderness medicine ultimately ignited her medical career. She attended NUNM in Portland, OR, an accredited Naturopathic medical university and graduated with dual degrees as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and a MSOM. Her training was a rigorous 6 years, including medical study in addition to nutrition, herbal medicine (both Western and Chinese), homeopathy, physical medicine, and several years of clinical hours under highly trained practitioners in both teaching and community clinics. She remains dedicated to the principles and philosophies of Naturopathic and Classical Chinese medicine.
